Home Sweet Home!

We have been settled for just about three weeks now and wanted to give you a tour of our house! We were able to get the truck unloaded (with Reynold's help) in one day and completely unpacked by our 3rd day here! Alex worked like crazy one night and painted the bedroom, living room and bathroom our second day at the house. We still have quite a few things that we would like to do/add, but wanted family to see where we're living!  Going from a one room apartment to a 3 bedroom house, we have a whole room that is empty, and still have quite a few "holes" that ideally we would like to fill with furniture, and add a few homey touches, but it feels like home!
Part of the front yard! We need some flowers, a door wreath and an American flag and we'll fit right into the South!

Our ginormous back yard, with a play structure for all the little children that will come to stay at our house;)
Our patio. Everyone in the South has outdoor ceiling fans, kind of neat!

Dining area to the right
I love the green wall Alex painted:) Next, we need to put up curtains!

Kitchen, needs a lot of work! Exctied to make it cheery since that is where I spend a lot of my time!
Pantry to the side of the kitchen- I love a stocked pantry!
Guest/hallway Bathroom- Didn't Alex do a great job painting?!

The spare, bare soon to be guest room.
Alex's office, we found this pull out bed/couch on craigslist, brand new with the tags on it for jsut 100.00! We were pretty excited:)
That's it! You've just toured the whole house! Not too bad for just having moved 3 weeks ago, right? I'll have to update more once we get curtains, rugs and a few other final touches added, but for now it's home sweet home!

I made BBQ chicken pizza the other night that turned out "real nice." Thought you would enjoy it too! It's a nice variation of pizza if you're tired of the same plain old pepperoni. I made it with crock pot BBQ chicken, so it was extra easy and delicious!

BBQ ChickenPizza
Ingredients:
2 whole chicken breasts
3 cups of BBQ sauce
1 cup mozarella cheese
1/2 cup cheddar cheese
1 pizza crust (I used Pillsbury)
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1/2 red onion, sliced
2 green onions

Place 2 whole chicken breasts in the crockpot and cover with your choice of BBQ sauce (I used sweet baby rays) Place heat on high for 3 hours. With fork, shrd chicken and add more sauce if needed. Place on low for another 1-2 hours.
Preheat oven to 400. Bake pizza crust until slightly golden brown. Spread BBQ chicken over crust. Layer with cheeses, then green peppers and red and green onion. Return to oven when cheeses are melted and bubbly. Enjoy!
